A Look Back At 2014 - Marfa Texas

2014 was filled with a lot of adventures.  It was my first year officially being a full time wedding photographer.  It's the year I purchased my Fujifilm x100s which made me fall in love with photography all over again.  It's the year that my amazing Fiance Junie dove into photography himself and became my full time wedding assistant and second shooter.  I cannot tell you what a joy it's been photographing weddings.  We have truly enjoyed each and every one.  Every wedding was so special to us, and we are just so touched that we were given the honor to document such an important day in two peoples lives.  This year has also been an incredible learning experience.  I was challenged with every situation you could imagine, from crazy weather, to horrible lighting conditions, equipment failure, mosquito attacks, flash floods, broken lenses, broken cameras, external drives dying, and computers crashing.  It was all completely worth it though, and I wouldn't take a single day back.  I am also super grateful that I live in a town where I can witness gorgeous sunset after sunset, insane storms, be a part of an incredible community, and am surrounded by some of the most breathtaking desert scenery around.  So here is a little look back at my life in 2014. Special thanks to:  Marfa Film Festival, Marfa Gallery Guide, Mercer BlackBallroom Marfa, Chinati Foundation, Big Bend Brewing, Hotel Paisano, Cinemarfa, Marfa Live Arts, El Cosmico, Magic Hour Marfa, The Capri, The Gage Hotel, Lajitas Golf Resort and Hotel, Trystero DesignBig Bend Sentinel, The Well, JD Garcia for our awesome photo booth photo, and everyone else that made this a great year!
